Stars of the Banner 2024 Celebration

A free community celebration of the 2024 Stars of the Banner winners including the 2024 Dorchester Banner Hometown Heroes. 

Come join us on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh for a FREE, community-wide event presented by the Dorchester Banner to celebrate all the Stars of the Banner Winners and Finalists. 

This celebration will include live music by Tranzfusion, food vendors, on-stage presentations of the Hometown Heroes awards, "Winners Circle" where Stars winners can pick up their award, exhibits from some of the Stars and finalists, door prizes and more! Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

We will be giving away a limited number of cupcakes, and food will be available for purchase from ThaiTalian Infusion Cuisine, Scottish Highland Creamery, The Red Shef, That Kitchen, Simmons Center Market, Lil' Bitta Bull Pit Stop, Mrs. Martins Cookies and K&S Lemonade. Plus, the Dorchester Chamber Foundation will have beer and wine for sale to benefit the Dorchester Chamber Foundation Scholarship Fund.

The door prizes offered by the Dorchester Banner will feature local-themed gift items that we selected especially for the Stars of the Banner Celebration.
