The Dorchester Banner presents Thrive, celebrating Senior Life After 55! We are pleased to partner with Delmarva Community Services and MAC, Inc., Area Agency on Aging to bring the THRIVE event to Dorchester County. Delmarva Community Services will be offering their great senior center facility as the venue for the first year of this event. Join us for a wealth of information and a bit of fun too!

Demonstrations Schedule:
10:30 AM - Powerhouse Gym will host an interactive demo titled “Functional Wellness”
Start the morning with Kim from Powerhouse Gym for some fun chair exercises!
11:30 AM – Alternative Therapy will do an educational presentation and give more information on their products
Are you a little curious? Take home more information on CBD products!
12:30 PM – University of Maryland Shore Regional Health will present on Osteoporosis and Avoiding Fractures
Fall prevention is key! Learn more about avoiding fractures from our Sponsor, Shore Regional Health.
1:30 PM -- Ark Life Therapy will host an interactive demo titled “Music Moves Us”
You won't want to miss this one. This is an interactive demonstration with you! There will be percussion and movement, singing, playing simple instruments, and memory care information.
2:30 PM – Coastal Hospice will present Services Provided by Coastal Hospice
Coastal Hospice has spoken at Thrive events in the past, and have always given great informative presentations on how they are there to help in a time of need.
Thrive will begin at 10am and end at 3pm. In between presentations, we will call names for door prizes! Be sure to get there early to get your name in!
